Demon's Souls Remake: first look at the editor and photo mode

With the upcoming release of Demon's Souls Remake, scheduled for November 12, the first information on the title of the boys begins to emerge Bluepoint games. In particular, the site of PlayStation Blog has announced some interesting new features of the next generation title. The site has in fact revealed the characteristics of the new character editor, much more complex than the original title, and the new one photo mode, definitely well built.

Rebuilding Demon's Souls from the ground up was a difficult task, not only due to the massive scope of the original title, but also because we know how much this game is loved by PlayStation players. We love it too, which is why we've gone to great lengths to reproduce every feature of the original game on PS5, including character creation.

The developers, speaking of the editor, said that creating a character perfectly in line with the class we will choose will help make the game experience even more immersive. Not only that, witnessing the death of a character for which we took a lot of patience for make it as similar to us as possible, will bring new emotions to the player. In particular, the new editor will allow up to 16 million combinations with which to customize the appearance of your character.

The characters created will be seen by other adventurers around the world, and we wanted this expression of player personality to go far beyond equipped weapons or armor. We hope that the greater freedom in creating your avatar, coupled with the immense improvement in detail and visual fidelity, will result in memorable encounters, be they fleeting appearances, cooperations or invasions.

The developers finally talked about the photo mode, seen as a perfect opportunity to show the world the beauty of the character we were able to create. In photo mode it will be possible hide or display weapons and helmets, or even hide the character altogether to capture a spectacular scene. It is also possible to pose and change expression to take the perfect selfie. Furthermore, all filters will also be available outside of photo mode, during normal mode. We just have to wait for the release of Demon's Souls remake to touch these new features firsthand.
