Destiny 2: the cross-play will arrive in the course of 2021

In the past hours Destiny 2 has officially entered the next-gen, thanks to an update for the versions PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X which brought huge improvements from a graphic and performance point of view. But the news from Bungie they do not end there: through a long post the title development team gave us a little big preview in view of the new year. In fact, in the course of 2021 the possibility of playing cross-play will arrive.

Bungie had already indicated in the past that it wanted to bring cross-play to Destiny 2, but now it seems to have decidedly more concrete plans: the functionality will in fact be launched next year, even if when exactly, however, has not yet been officially announced. In the new Destiny 2 blog post, Bungie simply wrote that "Cross-play will arrive in 2021". The post focuses in its bulk on analyzing the rewards ecosystem, with the promise of keep improving and innovating, so that gamers can be stimulated by new ones gears, and do not focus their attention exclusively on the usual weapons. The news does not stop there, however. During Season 13, console players will receive protection DDOS, together with two new strikes, a Fallen SABER and Devil's Lair. The rotation of the Legendary and Master Lost Sectors loot will be expanded to include the Lost Sectors on the Moon as well. There will also be three new exotic pieces of armor to collect. The development team has therefore revealed that it is not yet satisfied with the number of weapons present in Beyond the Light: For this reason, it makes a commitment to include more weapons with the expansions that will arrive in the coming months.

So get ready to play with your friends on other consoles as well next year. In this new generation of consoles, the Bungie title is about to become even more competitive.
