During a recent interview, the Head of Publishing of Nacon, Benoit Clerc, confirmed the development of an IP at the study of Kylotonn, famous for making some and various driving titles. The game in question, just in order not to go off topic, will be the third chapter of a much loved saga among motor enthusiasts, Test Drive Unlimited 3. These are the words of Clerc:
“Our most important software house we have is KT Racing, known as Kylotonn, based in Paris and Lyon. The kids specialize in racing games and have always created titles like World Championship Rally and motor simulations like TT Isle of Man. Right now they are currently working on their biggest project ever, Test Drive Unlimited 3 ”.
This saga was in a certain sense the true forerunner of a genre that is going a lot today, that of arcade driving titles within an open world system (Forza Horizon to name one). The announcement of this third chapter, given the various changes that have occurred in this genre of games, certainly pleases long-time fans who are hoping for a system and an approach more in step with the times than the last episode. Finally, we remind you that the rights of the title passed into the hands of Bigben Interactive in 2016.
