Devolver Digital - Complete recap of the E3 2019 conference

It seems like only yesterday the 2018 conference, when the Los Angeles stage was filled with the conference of Devolver Digital, the craziest and certainly the most original publisher of the entire event. Continuing on the same vein as last year, and continuing the real "thriller" and Gore story that came out of it, this time the structure of the Devolver conference no longer extensively parodices classic conferences, but actually goes to "ape" (pass the term) the structure of Nintendo Direct giving life this time to the Devolver Direct. E3 2019 was therefore dedicated to a few titles and many scenes acted, as tradition dictates, and therefore the recap in question will also be quite fast.

Devolver Digital - Complete recap of the E3 2019 conference

The Devolver Digital conference clearly starts with a recited part, where ours Nina, reduced to a vegetative state after the attack on the stage last year, she sees herself ousted and at the same time exploited. In fact, through a strange device, the conference is transformed into a Direct that takes place directly inside the mind of the unfortunate, who in any case will present - in full Devolver style - the various titles.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

The first title presented is a very nice one Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which has all the air of being a sort of single-life obstacle course where the winner of the race will be the first to reach the goal and which will have dribbled in style all the threats that the road has offered. The title is scheduled for 2020 and will be available on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Devolver Bootleg

This time it is Give back itself that takes care of the production, and here it is proposed Devolver Bootleg, currently available on Steam and which includes a series of small titles with a particularly retro taste. Certainly a crazy collection that will make most people happy for less than € 4,00.

Carrion

The video that followed, and after the death of the unfortunate previous presenter from which the creature escaped without even knocking, is the reveal of a new IP, defined as a "reverse horror game". We are talking about Carrion: in this game we will be in control of a strange and sprawling red-colored entity, which apparently has the hobby of mangling any living thing that comes within range. This is a title currently in development, and which will be released on PC and consoles during 2020.

Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead

Immediately after, it's time to go even further back into the marketing field: the ad shown is in fact the arcade cabinet di Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead, and that - if it doesn't turn out to be some sort of joke - it will be available from next year; however, it is not clear in what modality. The brand is clearly already run in, but this new adventure really seems to have the absurd!

The Messanger Picnic Panic

With Nina's mind slowly bursting, here we are at an eighties-style game with decidedly summery tones: The Messanger Picnic Panic. The trailer shows us the game, where we will control ninja struggling with their adventures in a sea landscape, then accompanying us at the end of the traielr with the release date, set for mid-summer: 11 July.

My Friend Pedro

Another title that soon received a release date after being shown at last year's conference was My Friend Pedro, as per our prediction. The title that will see us kill many, many, many bad boys between leaps and evolutions will be available from 20nd June on PC and Nintendo Switch.

This announcement marked the end of the content, but as always Devolver Digital leaves us with another acted scene that carries on the story of our Nina, the company, and more. Appointment atE3 2020!
