    Dexter is about to return in a new TV series

    One of the most successful TV series of the 2000s it certainly is Dexter, product created by the mind of James Manos Jr. It's composed by eight seasons. The production had a cultural impact impressive in its time, demonstrating how a franchise born from a single novel managed to kidnap millions of viewers around the world.


    The series has it completed in 2013 to its ninety-sixth episode, but the misadventures of the famous murderer of criminals are by no means over. Showtime Entertainment has in fact announced the production of a ninth season by Dexter, which the story continues where it was stopped seven years ago. The study has indeed sorted well ten new episodes, with the intention of reuniting lead star Michael C. Hall and original showrunner Clyde Phillips. Reportedly, the filming will begin in early 2021 while i episodes will be broadcast in the fall of the same year. On the occasion of this important announcement Gary Levine, or the president of Showtime Entertainment, provided the following statement:


    Dexter is a very special series, both for its millions of fans and for us at Showtime, as this is one of the franchises that helped to get Showtime to where it is today. Our goal is to revisit this character, and his setting, only in the possibility of finding a creative approach to the height of the original work. Luckily Michael C. Hall and Clyde Phillips succeeded, and we can't wait to show their vision to the world.


    For the occasion, even a teaser trailer, which shows no actual production scene. Unfortunately we do not yet know a hypothetical release date, but we await more information from any local distributors for this new season of Dexter. While waiting to find out this information, we remind you that Showtime Entertainment is currently working on a TV series dedicated to Halo.
