Disneyland: the Avengers Campus is ready and will open this year (there will also be Spider-Man)

After being delayed for nearly a year due to the health emergency caused by the coronavirus, theAvengers Campus has been officially completed and will finally open at Disneyland, al Disney's California Adventure Park of Anaheim (California), next June 4 2021, according to information released by the company and CNBC.

The new area will allow all fans of the House of Ideas to meet the main heroes and super villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Thor, Black Panther, Black Widow, Thanos and many others). Clearly in the Avengers Campus there will be no shortage of dedicated attractions, such as the innovative one Spider-Man Adventure and a rescue mission entirely dedicated to Guardiani della galassia.

Avengers Campus, a whole new land within the Disney California Adventure park dedicated to discovering, recruiting and training the next generation of superheroes, will open June 4 to California residents at Disneyland Resort!

But that's not all, as Marvel's new area dedicated to superheroes will see the debut of a stunt robot in the guise of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (you can find the video at the bottom of the article), who during the day will delight in running around on the rooftops, performing incredible stunts and posing for ritual photos with the fans. Also, according to the words of Josh D'Amaro, president of Disney Parks, the possibility that other well-known characters from the House of Ideas will be added in the future cannot be ruled out.

We have the ultimate playground for Marvel. As soon as Kevin [Feige] and the Marvel Studios team create new characters and stories, we can integrate them into Disneyland's Avengers Campus.

According to the company, Disney Parks in Anaheim will reopen to the public on April 30 for California residents only. The long closures of the parks have hit the finances of the Mickey Mouse house hard, forcing the company to lay off thousands of employees, also given the drastic decline in revenues in the last fiscal quarter which fell by 53% (about 3,6 billion dollars).
