Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Kevin Feige clarifies the horror nature of the film

As we all know, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be the first film "horror" of the MCU. In the past few hours Kevin Feige, president of the Marvel Studios, clarified this definition during the New York Film Academy stating that “Multiverse of Madness is the best title we've ever come up with, which is a very exciting thing about it. I wouldn't say it's necessarily a horror movie, but… it's going to be a great Marvel movie, with scary sequences “. It will therefore not be a real horror film.

According to Feige's statements, the film will take its cue from the dark tones of films such as: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, Gremlins or Poltergeist, thus not aiming to scare the viewer in a "terrible and heartbreaking way, but in a legitimate way frightening ". We remind you that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be available in cinemas starting from 7 Maggio 2021.
