Does Google Stadia have any games with bugs? It seems that no one can solve them

Fixing bugs in your own games, for the developers of Google Stadiawill be a real problem from now on. Since when Google has closed its development studies, in fact, none of the developers will be able to handle the titles anymore, and consequently any kind of problem or bug will remain as it is. Journey to the Savage Planethas recently encountered several problems, which unfortunately, at least at the moment, cannot be solved.

The discovery was made by a Stadia user who has asked the platform for assistance to be able to play Journey to the Savage Planet. Google support sent it back to the publisher, 505 Games, who however explained to him how the game code and Stadia version data are in Google's hands and not theirs. Typhon Studios it was the first studio acquired by Google, but with the actual closure the developers were fired like everyone else. For users who are still playing on Stadia, however, this has caused quite a bit of trouble, as there is no one who can fix their games. The user replied to 505 Games explaining that he contacted them at the suggestion of Google. To which the publisher gave a more exhaustive explanation, namely that the colossus of Mountain View took care of the port himself, having acquired developer Typhoon Studios in 2019, and releasing it under label Stadia Games and Entertainment. Basically 505 Games just can't intervene on that version, on which he no longer has any rights.

“Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do from our side right now as all game code and data on Stadia are owned by Google,” 505's support staff said in an email. you are therefore a Stadia owner, at the moment, it seems that you have to keep the bugs. Google doesn't seem to have more employees able to fix them.
