According to what has emerged in the last few hours, BioWare would have revealed in advance some of the locations that will characterize the next Dragon Age 4, through his book dedicated to 25th anniversary of the Canadian software house. The new chapter of the highly acclaimed videogame saga should mainly take place in Tevinter, a land not yet visited within the world of the Thedas franchise. Certainly the news will not surprise fans of the game, given that the location in question was shown at the end of the expansion "Trespasser"of Dragon Age Inquisition, released 6 years ago on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
But that's not all, since the book in question, in addition to the already known Tevinter, would reveal the concept art of other unexplored lands, including Antiva City, the capital of Antiva. Furthermore, from the images it is possible to see a Antivan Crow, or a theatrical killer "celebrated for his mastery of killing with style", supported by ravens while wearing a mask and wielding a shining sword, and the skeletal Mourn Watch which "protects Thedas from hidden threats". Although the project has undergone several postponements over the years, it would seem that the team has retraced its steps by focusing again on a great single player role-playing game full of familiar faces, so as to be able to continue the narrative threads of the original saga.
Waiting to find out more details on the next chapter in the series, at the moment there is very little information on Dragon Age 4, all dating back to 11 December 2020 when, on the occasion of the The Game Awards 2020, a short cinematic trailer narrated by Varric. Finally, we point out that according to Electronic Arts the new chapter of the famous videogame saga developed by BioWare should debut on the market not before April 2022.
