In the past few hours, Netflix has officially announced that it is working on an animated series based on the famous Capcom RPG video game, Dragon's dogma. The series will be produced in collaboration with Sublimation. We still don't know when it will be released, but the official synopsis of the plot has already been made known:
Based on the well-known action-RPG set in an open world, Capcom's Dragon's Dogma will be transposed into a Netflix original anime series. The story follows the journey of a man who craves revenge against a dragon who has stolen his heart. In the course of his adventure, the man is brought back to life as an Arisen. An action adventure about a man struggling with demons representing the seven deadly sins of men.
The representative director of Subilmation Inc., Atsushi Koishikawa, said: "We are thrilled to be able to share our original cel-shaded animation with anime fans around the world."
