Not even a month ago we told you about El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, title originally released in the not too distant 2011 and which, after a decade, is ready to return again under an improved guise on all PC through the platform Steam. The release period, previously defined as "very close" by the same developer, has now finally been revealed. The game will indeed come out next month, in mid-April, but we still don't know a precise date. It is enough, however, to be aware of a very precise and close launch window that will surely make fans of the opera happy. On this occasion, the software house wanted to release some additional information that had not previously been released and show some new images who present us the product under an incredible artistic care that we have seen well years ago.
The development studio Crim, driven by the legendary Sawaki Takeyasu, delights us with the images that you can view at the bottom of the article that show anime-style graphics that change drastically as the player progresses through a totally hypnotic experience, expertly mixing action, strategy and platforming in a single container.
An important aspect of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is the fighting style enriched with various moves and actions that must be learned in order to progress in the adventure. The many levels of the campaign include both battle and movement phases. Enemies can sometimes appear as a result of combat within the movement phase, and at other times change positions in a battle phase. A sufficiently layered gameplay, not excessively complex, extends and improves with the use of the chosen weapons: there are three types each with their own qualities, each superior or inferior to one another, like the classic game 'stone, paper, scissors'. Choosing the right one is very important.
