Emmys 2018: here are all the winners!

Emmys 2018: here are all the winners!

The awards for television excellence, the Emmy Awards, now reached the 70 edition. Conducted by the comedians of the Saturday Night Live Colin Jost e Michael che, the award ceremony presented many surprises: from the live marriage proposal of Glenn Weiss to girlfriend after Emmy win like Best Director of a Variety Show, to the exclusions of shows given for winners such as Atlanta, beaten in the category Best Comedy Series da The Favolus Mrs. Maisel  e The Handmaid's Tale in the drama category from Game of Thrones (despite a season that highlighted the show's decline).

But also the victory of American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace like Best Limited Series, the victory of RuPaul Drag Race like Best Reality e Best Reality Host a Rupaul (against the winner of the last three editions, The Voice). The television schedule bids farewell to The Americans rewarding Matthew Rhys like Best Actor in a Drama Series, while Claire Foy wins Best Actress to The Crown. In the category Comedy, Bill Harder exceeds David Glover and wins the award for best actor e Darren Criss does the same with Benedict Cumberbatch in the Actor section in Limited Series for his role in American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace.

Emmys 2018: here are all the winners!

Disappointing yet another victory of Peter Dinklage like Best Supporting Actor in a competition that mattered  David Harbour in Stranger Things e Joseph Fiennes in The Handmaid's Tale, as well as the victory of Merrit wever in Godless for the category Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series against the female cast of American Crime Story (strong point of the season, editor's note) including Penelope Cruz and Judith Light.

One of the highlights of the evening: the much coveted (and deserved!) Emmy win for Henry Winkler, the legendary Fonzie di Happy Days.
