Epic Games Store: mod support coming soon

Big news are coming inside theEpic Games Store, who just recently started testing the functionality related to Achievements, now stable in the platform of the colossus Valve to which he is holding his own. In fact, it would seem that the initial form of this functionality has also been added in the license plate title Wildcart studio, Ark: Survival Evolved. Recently, a tweet posted by epic Games aroused a lot of interest within the community, as this hinted at the possibility of the arrival of mods on the Epic launcher. Everything did not materialize with a very banal yes; the new section, entitled "support mod“, Began the first tests thanks to the title MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, developed by Piranha Games. Here is what the developer says about this experimental phase:

We are extremely excited to announce that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries is the first game to participate in the beta launch of the Epic Games Store mods, discovering and installing the mods created by the amazing modding community will be easier than ever, being all integrated directly into the Epic Games Launcher

We all know how exciting it can be to be able to add mods, and therefore, expand your experiences within a title that we play with love and passion. In summary, thanks to the Piranha Games title that will be first tester in this new project, and in the new milestone system - two changes introduced in a short time - the store begins to expand considerably also in terms of these features. However, it is clear that we will definitely have to wait for more news in the future. To be able to try this new feature, all that remains is to update the launcher. At the bottom of the article there is the official tweet released by Epic Games, in which the start of the experimental phases relating to this new section dedicated to mods is officially announced, which we hope will be successfully expanded over the next few months.

Mod support is now in beta on the Epic Games Store, starting with Mechwarrior 5.
