Fall Guys Coming to Xbox Game Pass? Devolver Digital denies everything

Yesterday a big fuss arose under a post on the official Instagram profile of Xbox Game Pass, more precisely to the answer given to the umpteenth request of a disappointed fan who asked if he would ever arrive Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout as part of their monthly subscription service, the hilarious party game merged with a battle royale that took the world by storm last summer. This answer assumed that the title published by Devolver Digital was about to arrive within the service of Microsoft products, but apparently it would only be an unfortunate misunderstanding, given that promptly on the Twitter profiles of both the American publisher and Fall Guys themselves have denied the news.

This response was pointed out to the general public Tom Warren, a journalist at The Verge magazine, who published the screen of the exchange that took place on the Xbox Game Pass Instagram profile on his Twitter profile. After a very short time, Devolver Digital itself intervened, who replying to Warren confirmed that at the moment there are no plans for Fall Guys to even make it onto the service dedicated to the gaming of the Redmond house, specifying that no release is planned on this platform neither with regard to the Xbox Series X / S catalog, nor for the PC catalog.

So the hopes of thousands of fans who would like to at least try the hilarious part game are gone in less than 24 hours ... or maybe not? The official profiles of Devolver Digital, including those dedicated exclusively to Fall Guys, have only reiterated that the title will not arrive on Xbox Game Pass, without however denying a probable publication of the game in digital stores. For the moment, therefore, we just have to wait and cross our fingers, hoping that this weird but fun battle royale will soon land on the shores of Microsoft.
