Fantastic Beasts 3: Mads Mikkelsen will be the new Grindelwald, it's official

After fired Johnny Depp Warner officially announced his replacement today: Mads Mikkelsen will take on the role of Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3, a film which is expected to be released in cinemas all over the world in 2022. Mikkelsen has starred in the likes of Rogue One, Hannibal and Doctor Strange and therefore joins, from today, to cast of Fantastic Beasts 3 including Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller and Jude Law.

Fantastic Beasts 3 is supposed to narrate events set in a going time frame by 1927 to 1945 (about 18 years old). The splendid landscapes of Rio De Janeiro, in Brazil. 1945 is the year in which Albus silente He defeated Grindewald and it is precisely in that period that Tom Riddle (Voldemort) finished his studies within the Hogwarts magic school. The actor Dan Fogler, who in the film will play the role of Jacob Kowalski, said about Fantastic Beasts 3:

It all leads to this huge battle, to the Second World War. You can only imagine what epic battle scenes you will witness in the hall!

Johnny Depp was fired from Warner following a controversial legal battle which saw him involved against the British tabloid Sun that I had accused him of being a "wife beater", after a series of problems the actor allegedly had with wife Amber Heard. In the summer, Heard even risked jail time for alleged falsification of evidence against Depp himself, as we have had the opportunity to tell you. Judge Nicol, however, sided with his wife and Warner made the decision to relieve Johnny Depp from office, forcing him to give up the role of Gellert Drindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3. A somewhat twisted and bizarre story that, in one way or another, seems to have reached its conclusion (at least for Warner…).
