Final Fantasy 16 will be action-oriented and accessible to all, Yoshida talks about it

Final Fantasy 16 has attracted the attention of players since the day of its official announcement, thanks to a return to a strongly medieval setting which differs from the last chapters of the saga, but above all because the producer is back at the helm of the project Naoki Yoshida, ready to try their hand at the new exclusive PlayStation 5 di Square Enix. After releasing some information and details about the setting and the protagonists of Final Fantasy XVI, the developer also revealed to us what we can expect from the title in a recent podcast.

Yoshida briefly discussed FF16 on a radio broadcast he was invited to primarily to discuss FF14.

He said that FF16 is "action-oriented" and that they're putting effort into supporting players who are less-skilled at action games - also that they're working hard on the story. https://t.co/G3C2jmm3Rr

During the broadcast, on the one hand he was mentioned the focus on the action element, an aspect on which the presence of Ryota Suzuki in the role of Battle Director he had already let the players speculate: these he in fact worked on Devil May Cry IV and Devil May Cry V, for which he mainly cared for the fighting style of Black. Yoshida then pointed out it as the next final fantasy it will be accessible to all, even to players who are not familiar with the action genre, and who will therefore be able to approach the title without finding insurmountable obstacles on the gameplay side: good news for all those who want to experience the adventure without having to be too careful to chain complicated combos. Finally, inevitable for a chapter of the saga, the narrative aspect will be the central element as in each chapter of the saga, with the creative team that is working hard to bring us a plot ready to remain in our hearts.

Unfortunately, however, as stated by Yoshida himself a few days ago, to have substantial news on the title we will have to wait a long time. The developers, in fact, they have no intention of unbuttoning earlier than expected so as to prevent speculation about the game from leaking into the network. Most likely, therefore, when new information arrives it will be very interesting, perhaps with a new gameplay trailer. We just have to wait a few months, continuing to follow Yoshida in the hope that he will miss other details on the next Final Fantasy 16.
