Final Fantasy VIII Remastered: shown the trailer with release date and open pre-orders

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is shown in a new trailer coming directly from the Gamescom 2019, and finally gives us a release date for the updated version of the beloved Square Enix RPG. The remaster of the title, previously announced a few months ago at E3, is scheduled for worldwide release 3 September 2019, and will debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

The game promises the audience a improved technical sector, the ability to disable random encounters and take advantage of the x3 speed feature. For its PC edition, some aesthetic improvements have also been introduced, and interesting additional contents such as the cheat support - obviously not compatible on console versions.

We also report that Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is already available for pre-order, in its only one digital format at the price of 19,99 € on Xbox Live, PSN and Steam. No appearances in Nintendo eShop yet, but in all likelihood, given the approaching release date, we expect to see it appear in the catalog soon.
