Forspoken shown by Square Enix, here is the real name of Project Athia

After admiring Project athia last year, title coming in 2022 on PC e PlayStation 5, Square Enix presented more details about the game. This in fact takes the name of Forspoken, which appears to be definitive, and is about a girl's story within a truly brutal fantasy world.

The video, which you can find at the bottom of the article, shows further pieces of Forspoken gameplay, which not only resume the apparently vast open world coming from Luminous Productions, but also an avalanche of settings and monsters that make the experience even more fascinating. The name of the game shown may sound somewhat familiar to users following the Square Enix landscape, given that Forspoken is a trademark registered by the company just last year, of which you can find our in-depth analysis at the following link. The rumors that saw this name linked to Project Athia have therefore seen us right, even if unfortunately no further details have emerged regarding the gameplay and the contents that this work will deal with.

As for the reference platforms of the work, we can confirm that it is fully a next-gen production, but that it will not be only an exclusive PlayStation 5 on consoles. Indeed, time behind Sony stated that the game would only remain on its own reference platform for at least 24 months, and it is therefore not certain that the title will also make its debut on Xbox Series X / S, cloud gaming platforms such as Google Stadia e xCloud, and why not, even on a future branded platform Nintendo that can hold its own against the next-gen released in November last year.

We obviously await more details from Square Enix, which certainly will not hesitate to show its project again over the next few months, also providing a more precise launch window than the generic 2022.
