God of War introduces the Enhanced Performance Experience, 4K resolution and 60 fps

In a few hours, fans of the saga of God of War who own the latest adventure available on Sony PlayStation 4, and playable through backwards compatibility even on the new one PlayStation 5, will finally be able to feel enthusiastic. The latest adventure of Kratos and his son Atreus on the next-gen machine it had everything it needed to be fully enjoyable from its origins. The only request from the fans was to be able to play the adventure again by exploiting the power of the new console and thus giving a second life to the title of Santa Monica Studio through a sharper graphic rendering, dictated by the 4K resolution and by the much and required fixed 60 fps.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 2 February, the title will in fact receive a game patch that will allow all this. Announced via the proprietary blog of the software house, the free update will replace the current video graphics mode option with this new default that will guarantee better image quality and performance than in the past. Until now, as is very often the case, the title offered two options that went one in favor of graphics and another in favor of performance, just like the title in its version for PlayStation 4 Pro. Enhanced Performance Experience of God of War, on the other hand, will offer the following:

• 60 FPS sync
• 4K chessboard resolution
• 2160p

There will also be an original performance experience that can be selected at any time and will represent the “Preferred Resolution” video graphics mode for PlayStation 4. This mode offers a synchronized 4K chessboard resolution of up to 30 FPS. Definitely good news for all those who were waiting perhaps a step forward to finally be able to put their hand to the excellent masterpiece branded Sony, or for all those who wanted to play the adventure again but without compromising. It will be enough to wait a few more hours before finally discovering the Enhanced Performance Experience of God of War.
