Godfall: Gearbx shows the game's box art to the public

The guys of Counterplay GAMES and Gearbox Publishing, respectively developer and publisher of the new Godfall, they delighted us by showing on the official Twitter profile of their title the box-art for PlayStation 5. We have already had the opportunity to see the design of the cases in which the PlayStation 5 games will be packaged, through the box-art of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The developers have opted for one of the artworks already known to the public, in which you can glimpse the three classes that can be chosen in the game, a choice that, according to the developer, will not limit the playful possibilities offered by the game.

Godfall will plunge fans into a setting with some medieval fantasy features, divided into 5 worlds: Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit. The game takes inspiration from other action titles RPG such as Souls or the last God of War, but also to science fiction books such as the "Foundation"of Isaac Asimov and from the series of novels "Le Chronicles area of Folgoluce". Some inspirations also seem to come from Monster Hunter World, so expect a strategic component. The clashes will mainly be hand-to-hand combat in the third person, and there will also be a cooperative mode up to a maximum of three heroes. Obviously, the title itself will adapt to the number of characters, increasing the statistics of the enemies on the screen. The director of the game announced in an interview the possibility of taking advantage of ranged attacks: these will be limited, especially since each player will have two melee weapons with which to throw themselves into combat.

We remind you that Godfall does not yet have a precise release date, but only a generic 2020. Fortunately it is confirmed that there will be a PlayStation 5 version and PC.
