Warner Bros. has released a new promotional video of Godzilla II: King of the Monsters which shows some unreleased images from the film directed and co-written by Michael Dougherty. In the teaser, entitled "Intimidation", a large group of gigantic monsters emerge from Pandora's box, metaphorically uncovered in all probability by some reckless human action.
Godzilla II: King of the Monsters is the sequel to Gareth Edwards' 2014 reboot as well as the third installment of the MonsterVerse from Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures. The feature film will see the mythical Godzilla, collide with Mothra, Rodan and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. As these ancient super species - once believed to be mythological - are resurrected, they all compete for supremacy, leaving humanity's existence hanging by a thread. Godzilla: King of the Monsters is set in the same narrative universe as Kong: Skull Island. The two monsters will serve in the next chapter directed by Adam Wingard, Godzilla Vs Kong.
Godzilla II: King of the Monsters will be released in theaters on May 31st. In the cast we will find Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe and Zhang Ziyi.
