Halo Infinite: a beta version of the multiplayer mode coming?

Certainly Halo Infinite is one of the most anticipated titles coming out this year, and despite the gameplay of the game being shown at theXbox Games Showcase, in the last few days some interesting details have emerged about the latest effort by 343 Industries. However, a developer from the American software house recently addressed many of the concerns regarding Halo Infinite, including the ability to release one beta version of the mode multiplayer.

During the Halo Waypoint microphone interview John Junyszek, Community Manager of 343 Industries, said that due to the health emergency caused by the COVID-19 the whole production process has been slowed down. Therefore, although the team is still working hard on the project, it does not rule out the possibility of offering its players a "hands-on" gaming experience before the project is released. We report in detail what has been declared:

The Xbox Games Showcase just had to focus on the Halo Infinite campaign. However, I can't blame all of you for being curious about the multiplayer experience. As Chris Lee mentioned on his blog, which accompanied the demo last week, our original plans for large-scale release have been slowed down by the pandemic.

At the moment we are not genuinely sure what will be possible in terms of release, but we still hope to have an opportunity to allow a wider audience to try it out before release. And, as we said earlier, we will be relying on continuous feedback and partnership with our community well beyond launch, develop and improve the game together.

Please note that Halo Infinite will be available during Christmas holidays 2020, even if at the moment no official release date has been announced, on Xbox Series X, PC e Xbox One.
