After years of waiting, Microsoft products has finally released a gameplay of the new Halo running on its new next generation console. At the event Xbox Games Showcase in fact, yesterday's gameplay was finally shown Halo Infinite, however many fans have voiced criticisms of the game's graphics, suggesting more specifically that the game doesn't look like it at all "next-gen". Not even the time to assimilate it, that the declarations of the upper floors have arrived, assuring fans that those images came from an old build of the game. The presenter and former host of IGN.com, Alanah Pearce, addressed this issue in an interview with the Xbox Marketing Manager, Aaron Greenberg.
In the Greenberg interview, Pearce asked about the Halo Infinite graphics, after which, Greenberg replied:
We are in the midst of a global pandemic. It's July and we're a long way from launch. You have seen a game in development. That said, you've probably watched the streaming in yourself too 1080p (Full-HD), perhaps. So we released another video this time in 4K and 60fps.
The marketing manager then added:
It's hard to show all the power and graphics of Xbox Series X in a live stream. Furthermore, the game is a work-in-progress. I can tell you with knowledge because we see check-in builds every week and the guys from 343 Industries they made great progress week after week.
So, it doesn't seem like the time to take stock yet, yet fans were disappointed with what they saw because they expected much more from this new chapter of Halo. It was also confirmed directly by Microsoft that Halo Infinite was running on PC and not on Xbox Series X, a news that makes you turn up your nose when you think that yesterday's show was supposed to be a demonstration of the sheer power of Series X and what it was capable of. We remind you that Halo Infinite will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X e PC, during the holiday season.
