Halo Infinite: the title of 343 Industries will have a Battle Royale mode?

As far as the presentation of Halo Infinite has not received the great success as regards the reception of the public, in the last few days there have been interesting news regarding the license plate title 343 Industries. The latest rumor suggests that the title will have a modality Battle Royale. This rumor had already appeared over a year ago, more precisely in April 2019, but at the time Frank O'Conner of 343 Industries had denied that possibility.

This rumor has recently made a comeback and is based on the official Japanese page of Halo Infinite on the Microsoft website. In the "genre" section, the original text for the page is "Batoru Roiyaru Shu - teingu" or "Battle royale shooting". Obviously we are talking about a simple rumor, but the fact that the multiplayer component of the new chapter of Halo will be free could support this thesis.

343 Industries, as we have already pointed out, has in fact officially announced through a post on Twitter, that the multiplayer mode of Halo Infinite will be completely free to play, and therefore playable for free by anyone, including those who do not purchase the full game. Additionally 343 Industries has confirmed a that this mode will support i 120 FPS.

Halo is for everyone. We can confirm that Halo Infinite multiplayer will be free to play and will support 120 fps on Xbox Series X. More details will be shared at a later time.

We therefore await further information, both on the game and on the free to play issue. In fact, it cannot be excluded that the announcement of the free multiplayer is somehow connected to another rumor that appeared a few weeks ago and that has become more insistent in the past few hours. According to some rumors, Microsoft would indeed intend to completely eliminate the Xbox Live Gold service, thus allowing all users to play online without the need for a subscription.
