Users PC they know very well by now how, since the advent ofEpic Games Store, the monopoly of Steam began to weaken thanks to the efforts made by epic Games in encouraging independent developers and software houses to prefer its virtual store over that of Valve. For this reason it is not at all uncommon to find out how some games are available exclusively on the creator's store Fortnite and, to the surprise of many insiders, the expected one Hitman 3 will be one of them. Indeed, as announced by IO Interactive in the very last hours, the new chapter of the saga starring the well-known Agent 47 will be available on PC only for those who have a valid account to access the Epic Games virtual store. The duration of the exclusivity will be 12 months.
According to the CEO of IO Interactive Hakan Abrak, the partnership with Epic Games gave the software house the freedom to create the game exactly as they imagined it and without having to compromise. Following the announcement, a new one was also shown trailer of the game (which you can find at the opening of the article) and, more importantly, it has been made known that Hitman, the title released in 2016 on PC, PlayStation 4 e Xbox One, will be downloadable for free by all those who have an Epic Games Store account, starting from 27th August and up to September 3th. This is a very important opportunity to be seized on the fly for all those who would like to try for the first time to deepen the game mechanics of a saga that makes stealth its most important trademark or who already know the title but have not yet played the new trilogy, of which Hitman 3 will be the concluding chapter.
Waiting for more information about the game, we remind you that Hitman 3 will be released at the beginning of 2021 on PC, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
