Horizon Forbidden West: The PS5 version was built from the ground up

Horizon Forbidden West: The PS5 version was built from the ground up

Horizon forbidden west is certainly one of the most anticipated titles of the next generation of gaming, but the news that the sequel to the much appreciated Horizon Zero Dawn is also available on the current PlayStation 4 was not well received by fans, fearful that the title could suffer some limitations. Fortunately in the past few hours Jim Ryan, president and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, urged players to calm down, stating that the PlayStation 5 version of Horizon Forbidden West was built from scratch. We report in detail the words of Ryan:

Nobody should be disappointed that Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure are also available on PS4. The PS5 versions of these games are built from the ground up to take advantage of the new console's feature set, and we have an upgrade path for PS4 users to get the PS5 versions for free. It's all about giving people a choice. I am really very happy with what we are doing.

Despite the reassurances of the CEO of SIE, many users have complained that Sony is not "respecting" its line of "believing in generations", as it suddenly decided to release some cross-gen versions of their own exclusives. At the moment it is only three titles on an extraordinary launch lineup scheduled for the first year, but the doubt remains, Gran Turismo 7 and God of War: Ragnarok will only be available on PlayStation 5, or will they follow the same fate as Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure?

Please note that PlayStation 5 e PlayStation 5 Digital Edition they will be available for purchase starting from the next November 19 2020 at the price of 499,99 € e 399,99 €. Pre-orders of the console are already open on k and other selected retailers.
