Only yesterday we talked to you about the rebirth of the brand of Lucasfilm Games which will contain all the chapters related to the saga of Star Wars on consoles, a choice that apparently does not mean much but that, instead, gives a global and representative image that was not so present and marked before. About a day after the official announcement, the very first project in which the studio is currently engaged appears. We are not talking about a video game taken from the universe created by George Lucas, but of Indiana Jones, a new project designed for “next-gen” consoles and created by MachineGames in collaboration with the aforementioned software house.
It was the one who made the announcement through the social channels Bethesda, another company incorporated in the Microsoft "package" which will soon become part of the entire ecosystem. As it was written directly on the tweet, this one new adventure will not be linked to any of the existing films, but it will be built entirely around a new and original story that, at the moment, is still in the making at MachineGames. The whole production will be produced by Todd Howard.
It will take some time before we have anything else to reveal to you, but we are very excited to share this important news with you today!
MachineGames, for those unfamiliar with it, is the software house that gave birth to the last chapter of Wolfenstein and that many hoped was involved in the realization of the third and awaited chapter. The Swedish company, at the moment, has not released any relevant information regarding this new Indiana Jones adventure, and we are sure that in the coming months we will know more. On the other hand, we will have to wait for an official release date or at least a time window, the genre of game to which we will refer, and find out if it will come exclusively for consoles or even exclusively for Sony or Microsoft.
