Inside Xbox: Aaron Greenberg's responses to the controversy

Following theInside Xbox, in which 13 new games were announced ready to be released on Xbox Series X, the first controversies from the community immediately emerged. But in which aspects has criticism been most unleashed? Mainly, the Xbox community has been targeting that at the event not enough gameplay details have been shown for the large number of titles planned for Xbox Series X. The first element that was most "bombed" by the community is the YouTube video of the Inside Xbox which received a very high number of "I don't like" from the spectators who watched the event live. The answer to this reaction was not long in coming and in fact, Aaron Greenberg decided to respond with exact words:

I guess the reactions would have been different if we had just broadcast the show without saying anything like we did last month. We have fed wrong expectations and it is our fault, we apologize. We appreciate your feedback and assure you that we will consider it for the future.

But YouTube wasn't the only battleground on which criticism emerged; the discussions have even moved to Twitter where, what follows, is Aaron Greenberg's tweet about the reaction of the thousands of thumbs pointing downwards:

Had we not said anything & just shown May Inside Xbox show like we did last month, I suspect reactions might have been different. Clearly we set some wrong expectations & that's on us. We appreciate all the feedback & can assure you we will take it all in & learn as a team. ???

But a medal still has two sides so, after starting in fifth with having listed the criticisms of the community, it is also right to highlight the fact that characters of a certain thickness such as Cory Barlog (director of God of War) have congratulated with Phil Spencer about the work done in the midst of a global emergency; but it was also Phil Spencer himself who was satisfied with the Inside Xbox 2020. Finally, the video of the live broadcast of the Inside Xbox is also available for anyone who would like to take a look at the titles announced during this live event.
