After the confirmations in recent days about the arrival of a new title by Kojima Productions, the team under the guidance of the teacher Hideo Kojima he has recently opened new job positions. The announcements for the latter give us the opportunity to make important assumptions about the setting of this next project. After Death Stranding, therefore, it seems that we will be able to play a title that will propose a modern setting that also includes the presence of Mech.
The professional figures that the creator of Metal Gear is looking these days are different, and they range from programmers to designers, but also authors and testers. Anyone intending to become part of Kojima's independent software house will have to meet some important requirements, however, such as "knowledge and proven experience in producing a wide range of animations". In particular, what caught our attention was the description of the occupations that the designers and programmers who will act in the field of animations will have to carry out. Kojima Productions is in fact looking for some new employees who will have to deal with "animations not limited to people, such as for vehicles, mechas and monsters". The Mechs, in particular, are an element that is close to Kojima's heart, so much so that we find them present both in the Metal Gear saga and in that of Zone of the Enders. Fans who wanted Kojima Productions to take care of the Silent Hill or who expected his return on Metal Gear Solid will be disappointed, as these new elements would hardly marry with the two famous videogame sagas.
For what it's worth, we can hope that Hideo Kojima makes a surprise announcement during the ceremony of the The Game Awards 2020, revealing a few more elements about his new projects. In fact, we recall how the entire arena of the 2015 TGA was a special stage for Kojima.
