Konami denies rumors about the return of Silent Hill

In recent weeks we have reported some increasingly insistent rumors regarding a possible return of Silent Hill which have unfortunately turned out to be false. Konami has in fact officially denied the recent rumors, declaring that at the moment a new chapter of Silent Hill is not in the plans of the company. To report the news is the portal Rely on Horror which had the opportunity to communicate directly with one of Konami's spokespersons, who said:

We are aware of all the rumors and reports, but we can confirm that they are not true. I know that's not the answer fans would like to hear. This doesn't mean we're ditching the franchise entirely, just we're not going to do things the way it's reported.

The company does not therefore want to definitively abandon Silent Hill, but that the rumors circulating on the net these days are to be considered completely false.
