While not the first video game based on the stories of Tolkien - we saw in fact a title focused on the story of Gollum and an MMO title produced by Amazon - NetEase e Warner Bros aim to create a one-of-a-kind title. As announced by NetEase in a lecture, the game, entitled Lord of the Rings: Rise to War, will be totally faithful to the stories and characterization of the characters. It will be set in the third era, or the 3000 years that ended with the defeat of Sauron and the end of the War for the Ring.
This adaptation will give players the ability to roam Middle-earth using the skills of the various characters to the fullest.
