Marvel's Avengers won't be free-to-play, the studio head confirms

The hype created around Marvel's Avengers before its debut it was undoubtedly very present, not only because it gathered different groups of fans (on the one hand those Marvel on the other those Square Enix and their games) but also for the promises made by the company on a rather long-lasting plan of support for the game. Although the launch was not bad at all for the title, the company's servers gradually started to empty completely following poor support, a meager multiplayer component, a lackluster and above all boring post-ending. Following this departure, as often happens, many players began to wonder if the game model would sooner or later change in favor of the free-to-play, allowing a new life to give some more hope to a product that is and still remains of unquestionable quality (here our review).

Crystal Dynamics however he replied and reiterated that Marvel's Avengers will continue on its way trying to improve and offering more and more content to players. Therefore, the hypothesis of having Iron Man, Thor and his companions for free in his hands has been avoided. Just in a recent interview with the head of the studio Scot Amos, his response was:

For us, the model we have is the model we adhere to. Look, you sign up once, enter our theme park, so to speak, and enjoy all these rides you can do that are part of it. We will also continue to continuously add more content at no additional cost. There is something interesting for us at the end of the campaign, there is a mission called Reigning Supreme, and the number of people who have actually played it but do not understand what it is, due to the duration of the same which unlocks so many other contents , is minimal. It is worth playing because it shows you the Vaults, the Caches, the coordinates and many other things that you have not yet seen. There is already a huge amount of content here.

How could we attend today during the Square Enix Presents, coming soon Marvel's Avengers will see the addition of a new playable character, Black Panther, protagonist of the next expansion.
