Mass Effect Trilogy: according to an insider, the remastered trilogy will not arrive on Nintendo Switch

Apparently a lot of online stores have started publishing placeholders for a possible Mass Effect Trilogy, coming out for the consoles of the current generation and which would contain i first three remastered titles of the BioWare space epic with all the DLCs published for each chapter attached. Unfortunately, at the moment no official has arrived, but the journalist and leaker Jeff Grubb of GamesBeat has recently revealed some news on the alleged collection currently in development.

According to the American insider, the aforementioned remaster would be due come out this October but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, development may have suffered some delay, without however denying the period it had previously confirmed. In any case, according to Grubb, the announcement of the trilogy should be imminent, and the project will take the name of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. The journalist then goes on to talk about the consoles on which this revival is expected to arrive, confirming its arrival on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, thus going to deny the possible arrival of the title even on Nintendo Switch. According to the insider, during the last meeting with the shareholders of Electronic Arts it was confirmed that during the current fiscal year 7 games should have been released on the hybrid console, and apparently the Mass Effect Trilogy is not one of them.

The eventual arrival of Commander Shepard's adventures on a portable system like that of Nintendo would be a huge incentive for the sales of the title, and it would not even be a novelty to see this series on a console of the big N, given also the release of Mass Effect 3 on Wii U. So we just have to wait for first find out if this project on the remaster of the original trilogy of the role-playing game BioWare is really in development, and then understand for which platforms its arrival in stores is expected along with a possible release date.
