There are certainly many films based on or inspired by video games, sometimes even the opposite. These, defined tie-ins, very often do not reach a desired result and almost always manage to overcome only a pass. This does not mean that sometimes a product can come out much more than others. The highly anticipated Monster Hunter starring Milla Jovovich who plays the famous Natalie Artemis (title taken from the console game of the same name) could be that film that may surprise more than others. About that, Capcom just in the last few hours released the teaser trailer of the film that you can retrieve in the video at the top of the article.
Since it is a simple teaser, the information that we can grasp is very little if not nil. However, one thing has been revealed and it is certainly not a small detail: the time window in which the film will arrive will in fact be by the end of this 2020. Initially scheduled for April 2021, contrary to many other productions that have had to postpone or even cancel some dates and some projects due to the numerous problems caused by the Coronavirus epidemic, the film directed by Paul WS Anderson does not seem to have been affected. However, it has not been specified whether this date will be official for all the various markets or whether it concerns only the United States.
The director himself then defined his own product as “his masterpiece”, thus admitting that he was particularly happy and enthusiastic about what he was able to achieve. Filming of Monster Hunter have now come to an end and all that remains is to file the last details before the distribution in cinemas which will in fact be in just a couple of months. The hype generated by the film is very high, as are many fans of the franchise who in the last chapter for consoles have grown dramatically thanks to the excellent work done by Capcom in that Monster Hunter World. All that remains is to wait a few more weeks to find out if the European market will also be among the lucky ones to be able to show the adventures of these modern hunters (or simple soldiers) and of the soldier fighting against monstrous and frightening creatures.
