Naughty Dog: Neil Druckmann has been promoted to Co-President!

N, creative director of Uncharted 4: End of a Thief e The Last of Us 1 and 2, was promoted to Co-President of Naughty Dog. After serving as Vice President for a full three years, Druckmann will pass the baton to Alison Mori, formerly Director of operations of the software house, e Christian gyrling, previously Co-Director of programming. The announcement of the promotion came from Evan Wells, president of the team based in Santa Monica, who debuted on his Twitter profile with these words:

We have such an incredible team at Naughty Dog and being able to work alongside each of them has been especially significant these days. I feel proud of the team when they are able to recognize their achievements and contributions to the study. Please join me in giving them all big congratulations!

Clearly, the response from was not long in coming Druckmann, who not only publicly thanked his friend and mentor Evan Wells, but he also congratulated Alison Mori and Christian Gyrling on the promotion. For the uninitiated, the well-known Israeli-born American writer, programmer and creative director, before holding important roles at N, played the role of intern in the production of Jak 3. Only later was he hired as a game designer in Uncharted 1 and 2, later becoming creative director in Uncharted 4: End of a Thief, The Last of Us, The Last of Us: Left Behind, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy e The Last of Us Part 2.
