The third and final cover of NBA 2K21, the most famous annual video game for basketball, will be dedicated to Kobe Bryant, the late champion of the Lakers, who tragically passed away on January 26, 2020. For the occasion, the Legend Edition has been renamed Mamba Foverer Edition and it will be a tribute to celebrate the career and importance of Kobe Bryant, nicknamed Black Mamba. THE'NBA 2K21 Mamba Forever Edition will also present two different covers inside, just like the standard versions of the game. The first illustration shows the basketball player when he was still wearing the number 8 jersey, to commemorate the legendary match in which he scored 81 points, while the second illustration presents Bryant in his later years, wearing the now iconic number 24 jersey.

As for the other editions, there will be on the cover of the stardard edition Damian Lillar, while in the one designed for next generation consoles we will find Zion Williamson, already protagonist of the official presentation trailer of the game shown during the event Sony dedicated to PlayStation 5. Kobe Bryant he had already been the cover athlete of the famous sports title of 2K Games in both 2010 and 2017, and the special Mamba Forever Edition could be a great way for both collectors and fans of the Lakers legend to remember his incredible feats on the pitch.
