New World: Amazon Game Studios' MMO has been postponed again

This 2021 doesn't really seem to spare the gaming world. In fact, a new game is added to the list of postponed titles: this time it is (again) a N, MMO under development at Amazon Game Studios. Last August we held a preview event with the aim of sharing our progress by gathering as much feedback as possible. We have invited hundreds of thousands of players to try New World. Your feedback and gaming experiences validated our thoughts on what improvements and additions we needed to make. We have since refined the combat system, added the variety of missions, expanded the variety of weapons and armor, added fishing, expanded the map to include a new Reekwater region, overhauled our crafting system, and continued to add half of the content. game and end game.

We have worked hard on compelling end-game features that we believe are important to include at launch. These features will not be ready for the spring period we announced. With that in mind, we will release New World on August 31, 2021. With this extra time we will be able to add these substantial improvements as we perfect the entire game before opening the shores of Aeternum to the world.

We will continue our Alpha in the months to come and expand testing by installing EU servers on March 30, 2021. Our closed beta will start on July 20, 2021. If you have pre-ordered New World, you will have access to the Closed Beta Test.

There seems to be no peace for the title of Amazon Games Studios, which dfter being postponed last year, is again postponed, this time to August. The release of the game now seems like an epic, and it is not certain that we will finally be able to play it later this year.
