In an interview granted during the Game Developers Conference, which ended several days ago, the director of the No More Heroes franchise, Goichi "Suda51" Suda, explained that during E3 2019 something very interesting could be announced about the long-awaited No More Heroes 3. When asked about the ending of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes - in which there is a very important clue about the future of the series - Suda said in fact:
“I myself wonder what it is really about. Who knows, it could be that Trevis is in trouble. I am confident that at E3 I will have something interesting to announce ”.
This is further confirmed, in addition to the clear words released for the occasion by the director himself, also by what has been mentioned in several previous meetings. Indeed, in other past interviews, Suda had stated that he was more than willing to produce a new main chapter of the series, stating that if the sales of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, released exclusively on Nintendo Switch, had gone well, aficionados would have heard about this new title very soon.
