PlayStation 5: A new console design closely resembles the GameCube

Since when PlayStation 5 has been officially announced, but not shown, the creativity of online users has reached unimaginable heights by creating numerous concept designs of what will be the new home console Sony. The last of these is the one we are about to show you with a rather particular design that evokes another old console. Who among you does not remember the good old and dear GameCube?

In the image shown below we can see this concept with clear "cubed" shapes that recall the console Nintendo but with a style much closer to Sony. The three sections that form this square, joined together, recall the three layers of the PlayStation 4 Pro; the retractable Blu-Ray player and the absence of any highlighted buttons further mark the main guidelines that Sony generally adopts on its machines.

This hypothetical design, which we do not believe is in any way similar to what will be shown, is also close to the one presented by Microsoft products with its parallelepiped bearing the name of Xbox Series X as much criticized as appreciated. Finally, we remind you that PlayStation 5 will be released by the end of the year. We still do not know when Sony will decide to show everyone the true face of the console and the global epidemic of these days does not help to come up with possible dates on the matter.
