PlayStation 5: Developers answer questions from the community

The launch of PlayStation 5 is getting closer and closer and, with the passage of time, increases the curiosity, interest and expectation of fans of Sony. All this does nothing but generate new questions by the players, both as regards the technical aspects of the new console that instead with regard to those graphic aspects certainly not of little importance. In response to all the questions raised by fans, it was released a post on the blog of PlayStation, in which new FAQs are collected. The developers, however, announce everything with these lines regarding the backward compatibility of PlayStation 4 games on PlayStation 5:

As of the launch of Playstation 5 in November, more than 99% of the more than 4000 titles available on PlayStation 4 will be playable on PlayStation 5. We know that you have doubts about how PlayStation 4 games will work on PlayStation 5, so here's a brief overview of some common questions raised by the PlayStation community.

It was officially stated that when the user will turn on the console and complete the login, will automatically find, within its library, the collection of content played on PlayStation 4. To ensure that this happens, however, it will be necessary make sure that the console is always updated. The games will also benefit from the fast loading speeds and the new graphics experience that the next generation console offers. There will also be backward compatibility for PlayStation VR titles as well as those featured on the PlayStation Plus and on PlayStation Now. Instead, regarding the transfer of games and data, here's what Sony says:

You can transfer digital games, game data and saves from a PlayStation 4 console to a PlayStation 5 console via LAN cables or a wireless (WiFi) connection. If you have already stored PlayStation 4 games and game data on the external USB storage device connected to your PlayStation 4, you can use it to transfer the content to the PlayStation 5.
