PlayStation 5: The SUP3R5 site was closed before refunds were issued

According to the portal videogameschronicle.com, the website of the start-up SUP3R5 was shut down before most of its users could get the reimbursement for deliveries, apparently never made, of a large number of PlayStation 5 custom PlayStation 2 style. According to rumors, SUP3R5 would have made pre-orders available for about 300 specimens of custom PlayStation 5, at a cost of $ 649 ($ 200 more than the console's normal retail price), which should have been shipped by the end of 2020.

The initiative would ultimately prove to be a disaster: the company would have done everything to cope with the high number of applications received, accepting payments from many customers, but the consoles would never arrive. The company issued a statement promising that all refunds would be madewhile apologizing for what happened. A few hours after the release, however, all refund requests would have been canceled, along with the official website and the Twitter account linked to the company.

Between the pages of Reddit one user reported his bad experience with SUP3R5:

Not sure how many of you have seen or maybe tried to order one. I ordered one of the retro black controllers. I just got an email from them this morning stating that the team was receiving credible threats to their safety. They will cancel all orders from yesterday and may try again if they deem it safe. Pretty crazy stuff and just wanted to share with the community.

Many users, among the various forums and social networks linked to portals dealing with videogames, had expressed theirs perplexity about the actual ability of the start-up to cope with the high number of requests of a custom PlayStation 5 in the style of PlayStation 2. These sensations have been reinforced after the actual difficulties encountered even by Sony itself in coping with the large number of requests for the console all over the world (in this regard, the Japanese giant has recently announced there imminent availability of new consoles). In the past few days many users have reported drifting problems related to the DualSense analogs.
