PlayStation Blog 2020 Game of the Year: here are the winners

Despite a shorter voting period than last year, the turnout of PlayStation users at the digital event PlayStation.Blog 2020 was a huge success: they were in fact recorded over 2,5 million votes, divided into well 17 different categories. PlayStation Blog readers have decreed The Last of Us: Part 2 by Naughty Dog il Game of the Year with regard to the titles available on PlayStation 4. Regarding the PlayStation 5 games, however, it was to triumph Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (here our review).

Sony has determined the top four positions for each category by representing them in the form of Trophies (exactly like the ones we can conquer when we play). The Trophy of Platinum it is therefore the most important, followed by that Gold, Silver e Bronze.. After triumphing at The Game Awards 2020, The Last of Us: Part 2 not only received the Game of the Year award (GOTY - Game of the Year), but also the one related to the best storytelling, Followed by Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel's Spider-Man: Mles Morales and from Final Fantasy VII Remake. On the other hand, the triumph of the colorful is predictable Astro's Playroom as for the category dedicated to games that have made the most of the Dualense. The little Astro is followed in the standings again by Spider-Man: Miles Morales, then by Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (the use of the DualSense triggers is wonderful!). Bronze for Demon's Souls, the fantastic remake developed by the guys at Bluepoint Games (here our review).

As regards the graphic sector, The Last of Us: Part 2 got the better of Ghost of Tsushima (second), Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (third) and Demon's Souls (fourth). Ghost of Tsushima however, it also got the better of the title developed by Naughty Dog as regards the category of Best Artistic Direction, where he won first place (and therefore a Platinum Trophy). Then, again Spide-Man and Final Fantasy VII Remake to complete the mini-ranking, respectively in third and fourth place.
