Prince of Persia: Ubisoft updates the domains of the series, is it coming back?

Over the past few weeks there have been a lot of rumors that saw a possible return of Prince of Persia, 10 years after the publication of the last chapter of the main series, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, released in 2010. To feed the hope of the numerous fans waiting was a sighting reported by the now rather well-known Twitter user Idle Sloth. The discovery concerns the renewal of the domains of the princeofpersia.com and princeofpersiagame.com websites, whose original registration dates back to 2002-2003.

Previously, most of the rumors were mainly directed towards a hypothetical remake of the Sands of Time Trilogy, after some concept art of the project in question, but the rumors nevertheless seem to be quite conflicting. The update of the domains of the series, unfortunately, is not an element that offers a solid basis on which to hypothesize an imminent return of the saga or the character. In fact, it is a widespread practice that has not always led to a return of the leading brand. Until any confirmations or denials by Ubisoft it's impossible to say what will become of the beloved franchise.
