Resistance: a tweet from Insomniac feeds hopes for a comeback

Resistance: Fall of Man was the first title in a saga consisting of 3 episodes that all in all was very much appreciated by fans and owners of PlayStation 3. The first game, in fact, was among those available at the launch of the console on March 23, 2007 in Europe. To date, however, the brand developed by Insomniac Games has been put to rest but, for several months, there have been some rumors about a possible return or reboot of the saga.

To increase these expectations even more, the software house itself has thought of it through a Tweet released a few hours ago. A post containing an image of Resistance 2 it raised a few questions to everyone. There are three solutions: a new chapter that would continue the saga on PlayStation 4 or PS 5; a reboot of the series giving new life to the brand; or a remastered containing all three original chapters. Unfortunately we cannot know what Insomniac Games wants to do with the product, maybe the Tweet will only serve to generate interest among the community to better understand what fans want from the saga.

Although the IP of Resistance belongs to Sony, with the purchase by the latter on the software house developer of the title, the possibility of a future return could actually materialize. All that remains is to wait a little longer and find out what's cooking. Maybe we could again find a chapter of Resistance at the launch of a new Sony console.
