Riders Republic: Ubisoft's title has been postponed

Through the official Twitter profile dedicated to the title, Ubisoft announced today that the launch of the two-wheeled racing title (and not only) titled Riders Republic has been postponed for a few months. The game was scheduled to debut on 25 February for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Sereis X / S, Windows PC and Google Stadia. Below the message from the developers, published on Twitter (the tweet is visible at the bottom of the news in the original language), translated for your convenience:

Last September, we offered a first look at Riders Republic's multiplayer mode, featuring over 50 different riders with a variety of activities to do and crazy stunts. Today we want to inform you that we have made the decision to delay the release of the game, which will still see the light by the end of this year. This additional time offered to the development team to complete the game will allow us to offer you the best possible experience.

Riders Republic is currently in development at the studios of Ubisoft annecy. The title, mainly focused on motorcycle racing, will also offer players the chance to run in mountain bike with a couple of skiing on your feet, as well as tackling thrilling descents in snowboard or in flight, equipped with spectacular wingsuits (some of them will even boast rockets for greater acceleration). The game is designed to compete over 50 players simultaneously in thrilling online multiplayer sessions, in a sort of adrenaline-pumping and alternative “Battle Royale”. In addition, players will have the opportunity to challenge each other in competitive team competitions (6vs6) called "Tricks Battle Arena".

In this mode each team will find themselves competing in an arena and the participants will be asked to perform as many stunts as possible in order to get the best score. Riders Republic will be set in a open world Which unites seven different American national parks: Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain and Grand Teton. Regardless of the slippage of the launch date, this is a title to keep an eye on, without a doubt, for all lovers of competitive titles (with a decent dose of madness). Ubisoft's title is just the latest in a long line of delayed games. It was yesterday the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy postponed to 2022. And speaking of Ubisoft, the rumors that they want the service are becoming more and more insistent Ubisoft Plus coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2021.
