During the event Epic Games Store Spring Showcase which took place this evening, which gave us, among others, a really interesting news on the Kingdom Hearts saga (which you can recover here), also found space for a short film of Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One developed by the Ukrainian software house Frogwares. During the movie it is possible to watch different game scenes which, as we know, will be shown in more detail during the month of March, a period in which the entire gameplay video will be released. From this short teaser, however, we learn that the investigation game on Sherlock Holmes, a fictional character born from the pen of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, will arrive at the same time both on the Epic Games Store, and on Steam, GOG and game consoles.
In the video in question, which you can retrieve at the top of the article, the development studio has given us a taste of what will be the various main game mechanics such as exploration, investigation, hand-to-hand combat, puzzles and riddles, in addition to the in-depth analysis of the various clues that will be used to solve the cases of the long adventure of Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One. The title we know that it was made on the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine, and that the software house has promised to show in more detail through the next video that will be released, as we said at the beginning, next month, in which a date should also arrive. definitive exit. Currently the work is in fact planned for a generic end of 2021 on all major platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One.
