In recent weeks we have reported the decision of Keiichiro Toyama, father of Silent Hill, to leave permanently SIE Japan Studio, to form his new team Bokeh Game Studio. Although the well-known Japanese video game author has extensively talked about the new project in the pipeline, alluding to the possibility that the title can count on an important collaboration with a famous creator in Japan, the software house has recently released a very first image on its official Twitter account. of the next game in development.
As can be seen from the illustration, which you can easily retrieve at the bottom of the article, we are shown a quite unique figure, which presents not only human features, but also raven wings and a deer head. But that's not all, since from the image we can see concentric circles, characterized by a series of symbols inside them. At the moment we do not know if the character in question represents the protagonist of the very first branded adventure Bokeh Game Studio, the villain or perhaps one of the entities that we will find in-game.
Waiting to find out more details on the title in the works (which is still in the initial stages of the development phase), we point out that the next game of the father of Silent Hill will be a Cross-platform action-adventure horror title with an Asian setting, which aims to "create an experience that can be widely enjoyed by a wide range of people", with expected to be released by the end of 2023. It is not clear that the project is related in any way to the historic franchise of Silent Hill, or whether it is a totally new IP, but the aspiration of Keiichiro Toyama is to create games that can be enjoyed by fans even 10, 20 years after their release. Many of the former members of the designer's Japan Studio team are believed to have followed him to Bokeh Game Studio, prior to the closure of the SIE studio.
