    Silent Hills PT: A camera hack reveals the title's horror secrets

    The sad fate of Silent Hills is known to all, as well as the demo PT removed from the Playstation Store following the cancellation of the title of Hideo Kojima e Konami. Years later, however, fans continue to investigate that short demo so impressed in the hearts of users, changing the game settings and discovering some goodies. Have you ever had the feeling of being followed as you wandered around that haunted house? Was there a shadow right where you had just looked? Lance McDonald (ManFightDragon on Twitter) managed to unravel the mystery by tinkering enough with the camera settings: Lisa, the ghost that appears in the title, actually follows the player as soon as the flashlight is recovered, always staying behind the camera and thus remaining impossible to discover. The shadows it casts and the related sounds are therefore actually produced by the ghost.



    In PT, it's common to hear noises as if Lisa is right behind you, or see weird shadows moving around in front of you, but when you turn around, there's nothing there. I hacked the game to allow the player to see behind them without actually turning around and… pic.twitter.com/bj1P0ymIZ6
