Sony announces a free online multiplayer weekend in December!

With the imminent arrival of December, Sony has revealed in the past few hours the games that will enrich the PlayStation Plus and which can be conveniently downloaded for free by subscribers to the service. But that's not all, given that the Japanese giant has decided to make a further gift to its community. According to the recent press release by Adam Michel, Senior Manager of Game Services Content of SIE, non-registered players who do not have a subscription and are in possession of a title for PS4 o PS5 with functionality or online multiplayer mode active, they will still be able to try them for a limited time next month.

In view of the holiday season, the company has decided to organize a free online multiplayer weekend, which it will take place from midnight on Saturday 19th December,, at 23:59 pm on Sunday 20 December. Of course, this is a fairly limited trial period and that will allow users to try exclusively the online coop component of the games in their possession, but it remains an excellent initiative from Sony. This means that users who are not subscribed to the PlayStation Plus they will not have access to the new titles of the service announced yesterday by Sony for the month of December. Among these we find the extravagant Worms rumble, the frenetic open world Just Cause 4 and the online shooter Rocket Arena, which will be available starting from Tuesday 1st December to 4th January. Of course, the event will require players to have a solid internet connection and a PlayStation Network account to make it work.
