Apparently the production of the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is finally starting. According to some rumors - now confirmed - the official release would be scheduled for 2022, the creators would then have two years to finish the creation of the second chapter of the animated saga. The Tweet of Kondo shows a simple video containing a red spider on a black background and the words 2022. We hope that sharing it means the start of production.

In the last film we saw several Spider-Man from totally different universes come together to save the city. We still do not know anything about the plot of the second chapter, but the scene after the credits concerning Spider-Man 2099 makes us think that it could all revolve around that world, but certainly also the love story between Miles Morales e Spider-Gwen will have a continuation. Fans are wondering if, after the Sony he had rejected the idea of inserting a cameo about Spider-Man by Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland in the first chapter, we might see one in the next. We just have to wait to find out some more news on the plot of the brand new chapter.
